shopdesign
Krefeld, Germany
An appealing shop design aligned with Fressnapf’s new strategy, placing the human–animal relationship at the center. The traditional warehouse atmosphere gives way to an inspiring and clearly structured retail environment.
Finishing Dutch and industry expert Thomas Brill developed the new shop format in collaboration with Fressnapf, Europe’s largest pet retail chain, under the direct supervision of owner Thorsten Toeller.
The Future Store is clearly structured and experience-driven. A consistent customer journey, diverse product presentations, and light, natural materials with an industrial touch reinforce the distinctive green Fressnapf world.
Originally positioned as a price-focused specialist in pet supplies, Fressnapf deliberately embraces dialogue and customer engagement to improve animal welfare. Both analog and digital touchpoints support this strategy and stimulate interaction.
By offering a clear added value in services and assortment, the relationship evolves from customer to “friend.”
The Future Store in Krefeld serves as the pilot store for the European roll-out.
